Stacksteads sits in the bottom of the Irwell valley, a short run down the road from Bacup, and it's a village we're in and out of regularly. Most of the work here is practical: fence panels replaced along the back of a row, a gate that no longer closes properly, a yard cleared and tidied, conifers taken back under control.
Access is usually the thing that shapes a Stacksteads job.
